Missing items: Sézane sends you a box with missing items. They charge on you for the items they don't send. After a few weeks you've been looking for them coming to you, this happens. When you reach out, the products are already sold out so you never get them. They even don't give you any credit for apologies.
No refund: Also they insist they don't receive your returned items. So you can't get refunded. You lose money and items; are we just donating to this company? They eventually stop replying to your message so you can't even argue. Record with your return with video when you do. Too much hassle.
Poor product quality: The product quality is also questionable. Even for the same product, the quality is different for each piece; some don't have a proper pocket, a bad shape etc. Those I've seen are made in Europe, India, Morocco.. it's not a matter of where it comes from, but the matter of the quality control and checking system. Sure, this happens, but the problem is that because many get sold out so soon, it's mostly impossible to even get a replacement. And you have to get in touch with this poor customer service again.
Extremely poor customer service quality: They should seriously consider the revamp of their service quality and increasing the number of staffs. They don't treat your inquiry in a professional way. Either they don't respond, or when they do it's very rude. I need to note that each person has a very different quality of service. If you get a response from a certain person, you get no luck. The current customer services significantly ruin the brand image and trust.
All of them above are pretty much standard stuff all the fashion businesses do have, regardless of the company size. Otherwise it's a scam. Seriously, they have those responsibilities as long as they earn money from customers.

I have ordered quite a few items from Sezane this year and most I have been quite happy with. However, I ordered a pair of the Jack Sneakers and I would like to warn others before purchasing a pair. They are incredibly expensive for the quality. They felt light and cheap upon arrival but I really liked the style and they fit well. I have only worn them a handful of times and only in good weather and a small scuff scratched the "leather" off the top. These are not true leather shoes... possibly that layered cheap leather, but should not be considered true leather. Very deceiving. The rubber is coming away from the "leather" already and there is no reason for this to happen after only wearing 5 or 6 times. I contacted customer service with my concerns and they suggested I have worn them in wet weather, which I have not. When I asked them about the scuff causing permanent damage and discolouration they say this is what happens with a scuff. I have had many pairs of real leather shoes that I have paid the same or less for that have been of much better quality and would not have permanent damage after rubbing against something in my vehicle while I drive. These shoes are only fine if you plan on putting them on a shelf to look at, or wear around the house for 5 minutes every once in a while. They also offer no support, which I was fine with until they started falling apart after only a few wears. I wish they had reviews on their website because I am sure others have had the same experience. Customer service would rather ignore me than admit their shoes are of terrible quality. Fast-fashion cheap shoes from China would have lasted longer. What a huge disappointment. Will not be purchasing from them again after learning their customer service is poor. They never replied to my last email.
I will be sure to share my experience with anyone asking about the brand and continue to share my feedback online wherever I can.

Perhaps their products are unique and…

Perhaps their products are unique and stylish but they need to improve (big time!) on their Customer Service. I don't think I ever was treated this bad by any CS. They not only did not solve the issue they simply ignored me and my messages. Needen't have I add, I was actually about to spend some money there (obvously) Huge, huge disappointment. One more thing, while ago, I had read the interview with Sezane founder Morgane Sezalory where she said this: "I always say to my staff the same thing my mum told me when I was young - treat others as you would be treated," she says. "The same goes for hosting - host how you would want to be hosted. It's very important to me that the woman feels well considered and well treated. We want her to feel good in our clothes and in our store." I honestly feel like laughing right now. She needs to train her staff better and make sure they follow her business motto. Merci (not) Sezane Customer Service for the worst experience ever!

Returns take FOREVER

I ordered a few shirts about 6 weeks ago, returned it within the week. And I still haven’t received my refund, had about 10 messages with them back and forth and got nowhere. They take 3 working days on some instances to respond and have had ample time to process the return given the fact they received the return only 2 days after I sent it. Don’t order from them. At least not if your from the UK

Missing second item

I ordered 2 posters for one of my client's interior design projects
Only 1 poster arrived and when I approached them to ask where is the other one, they said 'I am sorry you will not receive it, here is your refund'
Very unprofessional because:
1)when I ordered the items on site they were both availiable
2) I had no information from them that I will not receive the second item
3) I have been exposed to my client
I wouldnt recommend this company!!

Absolutely beautiful Melodie…

Absolutely beautiful Melodie Espadrilles in Sage
package gorgeously and delivery was super quick and efficient by carrier.
The sandals are stunning and the hand crafted crochet design is so comfortable around your foot.I am 5'10 and sometimes do not want a heel too high..these are just right and were comfortable as soon as I put them on!!!
Keep up the fantastic work Sezane and the Superstar team there.

I am so disappointed in Sézane

I am so disappointed in Sézane. Their range is beautiful and their packaging is in a class of its own but their customer service is severely lacking and is letting them down, I think this means that they will never be a significant player in online fashion. I am just wondering whether this review needs to be written in French to be taken seriously. At Christmas I ordered a promotional product twice in a matter of minutes for two different goddaughters. The promotional gift was only included with one order and only one order was delivered on time. I was only told that second gift ordered would not make it at the very last minute so I had a mad scramble trying to find an alternative gift for my goddaughter. Their response was to give me some credit.
Mindful of this problem and the very confusing message on their website about it taking longer than usual to deliver during the Collections, I sent them an email to the Hello@Sézane email address early on Monday 26th April asking if a specific product (the Farrow bag) could be delivered by Friday 30th and gave them the delivery postcode. I had an immediate robot reply and since then nothing. Inevitably I ordered something else, elsewhere, but I was very sorry I could not order the product I wanted. Have they not heard of hiring more people to work in ‘pick & pack’ during busy ‘Collection’ times? I have to ask myself why on earth they are not more concerned by their poor service to the customer.

All good!

I'm surprised to hear about so many frustrating experiences with Sezane's customer service. I recently purchased a few items from them and they were shipped to me (in Canada) from Paris very quickly, within a week. They use DHL, who charges Canadians a $17 surcharge to process duties and taxes payments, so that's one thing I'm not too happy about. There was a return shipping label included in the box so I started a return on their website for one of my items, packed it up, stuck the label on, and shipped it off (via UPS). Just over a week later I received a notification saying my return had been processed. Within a few days, it was back in my Visa account. I'd emailed Sezane to ask a few questions about the return process and they wrote back quickly with helpful responses. Maybe I was lucky but I felt it to be a pain free process! I love their clothes and find they fit true to size but recommend watching out for composition... stick with natural fibres! A polyester dress is just a polyester dress no matter what it costs. Also, if anyone knows anything about how their shoes fit (are they comfortable??) I'd love to hear about it!

Lovely brand

I recently experienced an issue, and had to replace loads of items in my wardrobe. I must have placed around 10 orders with Sezane in the past month! I have to say I have loved every item I received. However, I did not keep all of them due to several reasons (body type that makes it difficult to find fitting trousers or dresses, random sensitivity to knitwear, etc.). The quality has been great for the vast majority of items. I am very often disappointed by online purchases, but this has not been the case. I always felt delighted when I looked at the items.
They send the items very quickly and the refund process has also been very smooth. I love the small details in the packages, and how nice they smell. It's been a good experience.

I love shopping at Sézane

I love shopping at Sézane! The products are beautiful and high quality. Sizing works great for me and customer service was excellent as well.

I fell in love with Sezane's clothing…

I fell in love with Sezane's clothing when I first visited their website. I have received my first order today that was received within 7 days ( to Portugal ) The packaging, quality and fit are all perfect and have since placed another order.

Looks nice but quality not there

Lovely looking pieces, HOWEVER I have been very disappointed with the quality of my last jumper - it feels like an h&m jumper, and I'm worried it's going to loose its shape after washing. It says 30% polyamide but it feels more like 80%!
I'm also not convinced about their 'made in Europe' claim. The website says that some steps of fabrication are made in Europe. Could Sezane be more precise and not be like many other companies and hide the reality under the 'made in Europe' claims to make more sales? I'd rather pay twice the price for something that is of quality than paying the high price for a piece of plastic made in China. More transparency would be welcome.
